The Downtown Ithaca Local Development Corporation (LDC) is a 501(c)(3) organization which provides economic development within the Tompkins County community and its downtown Ithaca central city core, as the owner of the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center set to open mid-2024.  The LDC was originally formed in 2003 by the Downtown Ithaca Alliance and was formally reestablished in early 2020 for the purpose of constructing and operating the Ithaca Downtown Conference Center.
